Jean Cohen is a tutor practicing in Portland, Oregon under the business name of The Reading Toolkit, LLC. She attained her elementary and special eduction licenses in 1982-84 and her Masters in Special Education in 1985, at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She taught for ten years, some of which was with the Western Australia Education Department. She now volunteers at Atkinson and Glencoe Primary Schools with her reading and spelling remediation programs.
